In March 2017, the UK government published a policy paper outlining its digital strategy “to develop a world-leading digital economy that works for everyone.” In the future, where possible and necessary, private and public sector organisations will be digital by default.
While embracing technology is at the core of digital transformation, it’s not the end of the road. It’s merely the vehicle that future-proofs businesses by keeping them up-to-date with a constantly changing world. Digital transformation alters company operational structures. It changes how teams and individuals work together to achieve common objectives.
